Thank you for choosing Fair Oaks Emergency Room for your medical needs. Our goal is to provide clear expectations from the time of service to receiving the bill for your visit. Fair Oaks Emergency Room is a Free Standing ER and not affiliated with a traditional hospital system. Our facility is designed and equipped to offer emergency care 24 hours, 7 days a week, offering services similar to those of a hospital based emergency room. Emergency visits are unpredictable. Fair Oaks Emergency Room strives to make sure you get the care you deserve in a cost efficient manner.
Our facility currently is unable to accept Medicare, Medicaid, Department of Labor, and some products of Tricare.

Texas Senate Bill 425
Senate Bill 425, passed by the Texas Legislature during the 84th Regular Session, requires all FSERs to post notice of the following:
- This is a Freestanding Emergency Room.
- This facility charges rates comparable to a hospital Emergency Room.
- This facility or physician providing medical care at this facility may not be a participating provider in your health plan.
- The patient will receive a bill from the physician that rendered services to the patient.

Texas House Bill 3276
Senate Bill 425, passed by the Texas Legislature during the 84th Regular Session, requires all FSERs to post notice of the following:
- If we are not in-network with your health plan, Federal law requires insurance companies to process your emergency room visit at the in-network benefit level.
- We are not yet recognized by Medicare or Medicaid. If you would like to assist us in being able to accept these insurance plans, please contact your legislators.
